In September 2022, there was an International convention and contest held in Phoenix, AZ for all champion choruses and quartets from around the world. Spirit of the Gulf is thrilled to have received a medal for 5th place in the world, and our own quartet Duly Noted has received 7th place in the world!

The Sunshine District of the Barbershop Harmony Society sponsored  Harmony Explosion, a weekend barbershop camp for young men and women of high school age June 16 - 18 at Stetson University.  Spirit of the Gulf was delighted to offer scholarships to Ashley and Abby Buckley who are students at  Cypress Lake High School.  Members of the faculty included Rising Star and  Regional quartet champions, Duly Noted, and music educator, Debbie Cleveland, shown below.
