Who is Spirit of the Gulf Chorus?
Spirit of the Gulf Chorus of Sweet Adelines International was chartered in January 2001 and immediately began paving an incredible road to success. Directed by Deanna Kastler and Karen Breidert, Spirit of the Gulf Chorus continues to excel in a cappella barbershop harmony.
Spirit of the Gulf Chorus holds many honors. Beginning in 2002, these honors include: 9 Florida State SAI Chorus champion medals, and 8 top-ten medals at Sweet Adelines Internatonal competition. We are proud to have been chosen by the audience as the "Most Entertaining Chorus" three times, the most of any chorus in the organization. We are proud to announce that at our most recent International competition we achieved an Eighth Place medal.
